I'm a landscape and nature photographer with decades of experience. I prefer working with B&W film and am drawn to unusual light and abstract compositions. I use medium format; however, I've been working with 35mm lately since I like its low-fi aesthetic, authenticity, and sense of immediacy. I also like grainy, imperfect images. I used to wet print, but now prefer the hybrid method of developing, scanning, and giclée printing at home. My other interests are hiking—which goes hand in hand with landscape photography—mountain biking, carpentry, and occasional fly fishing.
I have a background in haute cuisine and a degree in visual art. I also have an insatiable thirst for knowledge and love learning new things.

Title is accurate.
Nice airbrush! I'm not a pro by any measure, but this airbrush is a breeze to use, and with the right mix can deliver some excellent results. I'm capable of producing very thin and clean lines with minimal effort. I truly endorse this product, and I'm sure it will bring its owner many years of hassle-free performance.

Great robust pliers, Dr. Slick quality
The Dr. Slick Barracuda Pliers are great. The Dr. Slick brand lives up to its name. High quiality instruments for anglers. Albeit, they are large, and a bit heavy. Though, having used them they seem very durable and will probably withstand many years of abuse. Moreover, the Barracuda Pliers are very confortable in hand with and aggressive bite, lanyard holes, and in this case a nice thick lanyard and contoured holster.

Spectacular sound for under $200
I bought a pair of ATH-M50's seven years ago, and I used them every day until they sadly gave out. However, considering the amount of use and abuse I put them through, that is perfectly acceptable. Anyway, I received a brand new pair of ATH-40x's several days ago, and I can whole-heartedly say that these headphones are excellent and almost up to par with my old M50's. They sound incredible and produce excellent, deep, and immersive sound. The only caveat that I've encountered is the standard earpads. They are firm and uncomfortable for prolonged listening sessions, an easy fix with a bit of research. Moreover, their construction isn't as sturdy as the ATH-M50's; however, a little "self-fusing" silicone tape applied to the sensitive plastic joints can give these headphones a longer life and enjoyment for many years. Nevertheless, the Audio-Technica ATH-M40x Headphones are the best "bang for the buck" headphones I've ever owned.
