Finally, what I've been waiting for.
1 of 1 found this helpful After almost 20 years waiting Pearl Jam has released their famous MTV Unplugged concert on DVD. The quality is great, and the concert is one of the best to be immortalized in digital format.
The band shows how talented they are by performing their hits with accoustics and not missing a beat. Dave shows how good he was on the drums, and Eddie, well it was Eddie at his raging fineist with superior vocals to the studio release of TEN.
The audio CD's were just a perk to this amazing DVD. Pearl Jam is easily the best band to come from the Seattle explosion, and they prove it here as well as they prove it to this day. Thank God for Pearl Jam.

"Living Legends"
Maybe the finest 5 musicians ever assembled in a recording studio. Among them is the genious, and greatest American poet, Eddie Vedder. Their songwriting has only improved from their debut album "Ten", 26 years ago. It is not pop. It is an acquired, but exquisit taste. Buy it and listen repeatedly for the musical nuances and profound lyrics. It has grown into one of my top 3 favorite albums from these Seattle rockers.

'No Code' by Pearl Jam. A must have.
'No Code' is one of the most underrated albums that Pearl Jam has recorded. You really can just put the disc in and push play without the nead to skip a single song. It may be their greatest collection of songs. This is a must have for the Pearl Jam fan, and a great disc to introduce Pearl Jam to those who are too young to have been introduced to the band due to the crap they are fed on popular radio. Excellent record from the greatest band since Led Zeppelin. A must have.
