I love my new butter dish. First of all...

I love my new butter dish. First of all, it’s beautiful. It’s also very well made and quite heavy. It’s lid has a handy knob handle that keeps me from ever getting butter on my hand. Also, the butter is down inside the lovely Stoneware dish, below where the fitted lid can touch. Because of this design, unlike my old one, when the butter is soft it can’t touch the lid. This keeps everything clean and prevents slippage. It reminds me of the way old kitchen necessities were made.
