Better than a real tan!

I love this product and have been using it since I discovered it a few years back. There is nothing like it. Unlike a self tanner, its more of a airbrush and you don't wait for the color to appear. There's no strange appearance to joints, fingers, and toes, and it can be blended for a flawless finish. It also has makeup qualities and will hide all those imperfections we all have; veins, scars, cellulite, without looking unnatural. Definitely a keeper product!

best faux tan ever

I've been using this product religiously for the past several years. I used to go tanning, than switched to airbrush tan done by the salon, and now I use this product. The color is instant so you can control where it goes. It blends effortlessly so feet and hands look natural. It's very affordable and easy to apply yourself. I've used it in the pool (just be careful with drying off) and my color stayed intact. It does rub off on clothes, furniture, and white sheets and will leave a ring in your tub but otherwise it's a perfect product.

Not the same as Bucilla kit and definately not for a beginner

While I liked the unique-ness of the design and found the felt to be good quality the kit itself is not what I'm used to. With Bucilla you get complete instructions - down to what color thread goes with each "part", stamped felt, areas marked where sequins go. This kit feels incomplete. While only one sheet of felt is stamped, it leaves you fending for yourself on exact sequin placement. Directions are vague and hard to follow. There isn't a lot of detail on what color is used for what. I just started this kit yesterday and after cutting out several of the components am wondering if enough felt was provided for completion. Being a relative newbie - this is my third applique stocking - had I known the kit was like this I would have reconsidered ordering. Definitely not for a beginner!
