Just too small for the job
My cell phone doesn't receive a signal in my basement condo. I was trying this little signal booster first before investing in anything else. It didn't really work: I got maybe half a bar when I leaned out the window!

Daring to be Thankful
I found this book challenging in its approach to living a life of grace. Learning to be grateful (and joyful) in any circumstance is a long process of falling and getting up again and again. Voskamp's style can be difficult at times (sentence fragments and so on) but the content is wonderfully compelling. I have started a journal like hers about being grateful for everything, and it's a challenge some days to find something to be grateful for; but it's there when you look for it. I highly recommend this book for those who would like to move forward in their spiritual lives.
