Compact, easy to use and sharpened my knives!
Saw this on one of "Simon and Martina" youTube videos. A trip to Japan is in the works and this sharpener fits the bill. Small and compact, tried it on several of my knives here at home and find it real easy to use and made my knives very sharp.

Remembering when mom made coffee.
The good is that for a used item all the pieces came unbroken and it works very well. The bad is the cost plus shipping was a little high but I can live with it. Also, I'm having a very hard time to take apart the metal band so that I can clean underneath it...coffee stains.

Small but does the job
I've been looking for something like this for quite a while. Living in North Carolina you're limited to what you can buy. My mom wouldn't give up her wooden one, so I had to buy this one.
