Link Pin remover review
18 of 18 found this helpful This tool is very cheap, but it does the job with two tiny modifications. First, I greased the threads slightly to make the screw turn easily and more precisely. More important, I trimmed about half off one of those push rods they give you to push the pins out with. The steel is very thin and flimsy, and it will often bend rather than push out the pin on your watch. By cutting it down to half length, it became much less likely to bend, and it pushed out the pins with ease. If you really need the full length to get the whole pin out, just switch the short rod for a full length one after you get the pin started out. I found that once it started, the rest was easy. Very good with those slight modifications.

Stanwood dancing willow leaves
1 of 1 found this helpful I have been hungering for a good wind spinner since i first saw a similar but much klunkier one mounted in a yard near where I work. The thing always caught my eye when I drove past it, but I could never find anything just like it. A local garden store had several wind spinners, but they were all pretty much junk and I wouldn't have one of them in my yard. Then I ran across this little gem. Wow. what a difference! Sure, it's expensive, but remember, you get what you pay for, and this has never been more true here. The workmanship and construction on this spinner are outstanding, and this is one of the very few spinners which actually have 3 stainless steel ball bearings. One for each side of the spinner, and another one under the top pivot mount, which allows the whole thing to rotate and follow the wind direction. I don't think I have seen another with this feature. It is mesmerizing to watch, and my neighbor saw it and said "Don't let my wife see that thing!" It is very solidly mounted into the ground, and the upright stake comes in two pieces, which are finely machined and threaded together. You drive the bottom half into the ground, add the reinforcing legs, and then screw on the second half of the upright pole. (You almost can't see where they come together, the machining is that good) My only suggestion would be to get a large machine bolt big enough to closely fit into the top of the bottom stake, and put this in place before you hammer the stake into the ground. This will protect the top of the stake where you are hammering on it. Overkill? Maybe, but it is a tiny cost to help protect the finish and top surface of the stake. They say to use a rubber mallet, but that may not work unless your soil is soft. Just an idea.. The spinner is all handmade shiny copper, except for the bronze bearing mount yoke on the top between the spinners,. and they suggested I spray down the entire thing with a clearcoat enamel (I used Rustoleum) to maintain the glistening finish and protect from weathering. Great idea, and so far it is working superbly. Just don't get any of that into the bearings, of course. The thing catches the slightest breeze, and the blades turn in opposite directions for a bewitching effect. It can really get cooking when the wind is stronger, but even a slow rotation with almost no wind is enchanting to watch. It is a delightful addition to my yard, and I have received many admiring compliments on it. My compliments to the manufacturer for providing a truly fine and superbly packaged product,
