Direct replacement

The shift knob feels pretty good. Lighter than the original and rubber to next to the plastic has a height tolerance difference. Aside from that the knob was a direct replacement. The rest of the tolerances were good.

Item review

Item needs work by that I mean refinement. The angle of the blade is about 35 degrees (eyeballed) and the overall thickness of the straight razor is about 3.5 mm. Cons: Too thick for my liking. Tolerances of holding the replaceable razor blade aren't tight enough and need to be tighter because the slide holding the blade moves. Irritated my skin more than other replaceable straight razors using Shark or Derby half blades. Double edged blades that have to be broken give it a tighter fit but scratch the surface of the aluminum and didn't improve shave. Price is also a little high. Pros: straight razor is made of 100% aluminum. Feels comfortable in the hand and solid. I also received excellent service. Long term use of a straight razor will save you a great amount of money taking into account the frequency of shaving. Recommendations for this product is it needs work. I have three replaceable straight razors and I don't even use this straight razor because its not a good shaving experience given that I have over 10 years shaving with straight razors.
