Charge 5 is a step-up in function & design from Charge 4
9 of 9 found this helpful I am a longtime Fitbit user, and it was time to upgrade. The Charge 5 is better than the Charge 4 -- 1. Much better charger - magnetic and easy to connect
2. Larger readout - very easy to read (see photo attached) and scan through data
3. Longer battery life - first charge lasted 5 days with constant wearing
4. Better band design - the way the excess tucks under the band is sleeker-looking & easier + there's a button that clicks through the openings to secure the band on your wrist, also easier, vs. a traditional watch band lever-type movable rod that makes you have to pull back the band to thread it through the openings (see photo attached).
