A trip like no other
1 of 1 found this helpful I loved this book from beginning to end. A special bond between grandchild and grandmother with dreams and imagination abound. My emotions went on a roller coaster ride. Want to read everything else this author has written.

Sadder than sad
I found the plot very depressing so much so I had to force myself to finish the book. This is unusual for Scottoline and I generally adore her books. The denouement was unbelievable.

Not compelling but interesting enough to keep one interested
Most enjoyable was the architectural descriptions. Mysterious enough to keep me reading, but some of the denouement was predictable. Would make a pretty good flick.
