IP Power 9258 great, but with a few reservations
1 of 1 found this helpful Overall, this product does allow you to remotely control plugs on devices and works good after the initial setup. The setup was kind of difficult, possibly due to a little confusing interface and the documentation seems to be a translation with little understanding. Naming the outlets didn't save the names right off, it took a couple times of erasing the line and adding the words, still not sure why it didn't take right off. The scheduling arrangement also took some getting used to as there are start up on and off, plus scheduled yes or no, but with date and time for now but scheduled mixed in. Again, confusing interface. After understanding it all, it does work, I will be getting more of these as I like being able to cycle power on a schedule or logging in and cycling power. I am a little hard on the review because I think this is such a great product, poorly documented. I rated it OK only because of the interface, it would get 5 stars for the quality and usability.

Network interface
2 of 2 found this helpful The cards work fine for monitoring ups units. Some are difficult to set up by the network method and their IP Utility. No problems setting up if you have the special APC serial cable.
