History come to life!
1776 Director's Cut;
This is indeed an excellent film. I actually saw it with my 6th grade class in 1976, and it stuck itself into my memory quite fondly. I've always been a fan of the whole story of the 13 colonel settlements and the fight for independence. Perhaps it was the marvelous celebration and pride throughout the country in 1976 that cemented this story, and others from that historical period, into my brain. Whatever the case, I Love this movie. I have the dvd, but wanted a visual upgrade. And this Blu-Ray doesn't disappoint. Not only does it look and sound outstanding, it has an additional commentary by Director Peter Hunt, Actor William Daniels (Adams) and Ken Howard (Jefferson), and an extended cut of the film. All the previous bonus DVD material and commentary are also included. Extremely happy to add this wonderfully entertaining Historical story of the birth of our Nation to my Blu-ray collection.

Classic cartoons.
Excellent set! Even though I have most of these on different sets, its worth having for "the Dot and the Line" cartoon. And you get a mix of cool warner brothers, mgm, and fleischer/paramount classics!
