Somewhat disappointing...
I don't know why so many buyers write reviews about how great a product is when they've just installed it and really don't know how it will perform or if it will last long. Fact is, having just installed mine, all I can do is rate on physical impression and fit. These went on 1991 Chevrolet pickup. It has GM factory tie rod ends (GM doesn't sell replacement boots). The boot seemed to fit the inner end okay but the outer end had a very snug fitting, tight-tolerance, almost press fit boot, that this new one didn't compare to. The edge rolled up to fit a small ledge. Wasn't particularly impressed with it but couldn't find another and my old one was in need of replacement so I put it on. Time will tell.

Expected better from Golden Rod
4 of 4 found this helpful The magnet is on the weak side. It is attached to the battery cover and the whole thing broke off the first month I had it. Though advertised that one can check the history values, I never found a way to do it and it wasn't included in the instructions. Disappointing considering the price and source. I rated it as "OKAY" because it seems to perform ok electronically but I would not buy another one.

Maybe not for large dogs...
This chain might be ok for smaller dogs but 3mm is NOT enough for dogs up to 100 lbs. like the manufacturer claims. I have an 80 lb. German Shepherd and he WILL break the chain given enough time. He has broken 2 of them (I was using up what I had around the house). I accidentally bought this one which is another of the same size. I won't make that mistake again.
