Want to use iPhone 6 to play music on old docking station?
2 of 2 found this helpful This product or similar is only option if you want to output music from iPhone 6 or above to old style dock with genuine Apple Music and sound. I've tried the cheap alternatives but they really don't output sound from the cable connection port. A genuine Aplple product is needed and although I purchased this at relatively cheap price compared to some places, it is still stupidly expensive for what it is.
I need this to connect my phone using Pure i10 dock to my Yamaha hi-fi as the dock has the old style connector. It's a godsend as the Pure dock amplifies the phone signal and gives good quality found to real hi-fi.
But come on Apple your taking the mickey here on price and it's not as if you need the money.
