Lightweight with great features

Very good and sensibly priced used socket 775 Intel Q9650 CPU.
This was/is a fast chip, (socket T 775). In 2008/9 it cost $500US, later, $300. Made a good setup better. Nothing like an i7 of course, but as a daily drive it's as good as I need in a retro sense. I do audio work, not into gaming, (GO IN HARD, BOOMER!!!!) ha ha. It has cut ripping and conversion times in half. At my age, running out of life time, thats important. This machine runs GNU/Linux LMDE 4. It is well good. Chip runs well and at 45 deg C wirh Arctic Air Cooling aboard a Gigabyte MOBO.

Very good value stick of good RAM.
Bought stick of secondhand DDR3 memory to test a suspect bad MOBO. Proved the suspect one to be a very dead parrot indeed. Performs very well in a good MOBO.
