Review on the book on Mary Jameson
I read the original first copy version of this years ago...which had more information so it was haard to compare this version. It is an excellent true story. My daughter wrote a paper on it when she was in school years ago when I had the original copy. My daughter had highly acclaimed remarks from her instructors on her report. I would reccomend this book to all as a true story of what life was really like for the white girl who was taken by the indians (they killed her family) and raised as an equal among them. She actually ended up known as the White Woman of the Senecas. In her second indian marriage, she had been the wife of a chief and inherited his position when he died. She accepted her lot in life that befell her, embraced it and her only regret as she lay dying was that she had forgotten the prayers she had promised her mother that she would remember and recite. She felt that she had left her mother down for not remembering.

Adventures of Huckleberry Finn was good.
Interesting book. Had fun reading it.
