Great book-Common sense for how to really clear clutter
Page 12 gave me a good "aha" moment:
"Your goal is not to have a nice, clean, orderly desk. The desk is secondary. Your goal is to get organized so that you can convert time that's wasted during the course of a normal business day ..." (You know what it means - digging in those piles of paper!) "...that can be used more efficiently and effectively."
This book also goes through properly using voice mail - leave just the pertinent info not your whole life story.
Chapter 5 focuses on planning - doing the right job at the right time.
There is a lot of common sense in here.
So, I'm working on the desk and I'm seeing desktop again. I'm determined to apply the lessons to life.
All in all - This is a good book. If you are thinking about it ... Just take the plunge.

Transformed Lives -Women's Ministry Guide - Chris Adams
This book sets up an outline of how to manage a women's ministry group within the structure of both large and small churches. I like that it is written so that even a novice leader can understand how to draw from the strengths and talents of the members. It encompasses coming together for Bible study, community outreach, internal relationships between members and other ministries, and just a wealth of information.
I bought this book because I was assigned as the chairwoman for the women's ministry of my church and I had no real structure to build on. I must say, it has been extremely helpful. I bought a second copy for the church library.

Colorsilk Buttercream - Excellent Coverage for Gray Hair
I have used the regular Colorsilk in Dark Brown for many years, for two reasons - it is gentle on my hair and it is affordable. When I saw the Colorsilk Buttercream formula, I gave it a try and it has become my new standard. This formula moisturizers as it colors. I find that once a month usage satisfies my hair coloring needs. My hair looks and feels healthier.
