Awesome children's book of the future!
I loved this book because it is all about rapping and biodiesel. I am actually a rapper and I made a small album about biodiesel for a university project, so I must admit, I was partial to the story. I read the book to my 5 year old, and he asked me how I got them to make this book about me (purely coincedence, right?!). Anyways, he thinks that much more of me now, and so I think that anyone who wants some environmental literature for their young tots, to introduce them to the whole "good car, bad car" concept, this one is for you. Somewhat radical, but very informative... it may take a few reads to get through but the story is very engaging, engrossing as well. The author and illustrator did an excellent job! Biodiesel for biopeople! Bio 4 life! Teach the importance of reliance upon sustainable resources, and of the protection of our environment from deadly toxins! Whether or not you have broken down and admitted that global warming is real (due to the overwhelming conclusive and predictive scientific evidence coming in from all over), you should encourage your children at least to consider these things! Start early, get this book!

Review of effectiveness inside a full body motorcycle suit - not too shabby!
I searched the internet far and wide for something to cool me while I ride my motorcycle (besides the wind), because I wear an armored onesie and when I have to wait at stop lights and such here in Hawaii, it can become blisteringly hot. I settled for the personal body fan, as cooling vests and other AC units that require mounting, etc., just seem too impractical on top of all the other gear I am already donning. I have tested the item, and am pleased with it. While I do wish it could be even more powerful, it does have 3 speeds and the silicon vent tube does a good job of focusing the air. The item clips onto your belt very nicely with the provided clip attachments (one for the battery and the other for the fan), and there is a separate clip to turn it on. The packaging of the item is excessively immaculate, with each item individually boxed inside a larger box. The assembly was nearly straightforward, as the instructions had a few pictures but were otherwise all in Japanese, I had to just sit and think about it (which worked out). The quality of the device itself is above par, with nothing loose or difficult to adjust, etc., and it charges perfectly fine with a red/green indicator light. There is a single button, which you hold down to turn on/off, and press a single time to increase the speed (3 speeds). The fan is very quiet, as well. I will definitely be using it regularly, and think it serves the purpose well. While it does not cool the air inside my suit (simply circulates it), when aimed at my back, where I am sweating, it definitely makes the heat tolerable enough that I am not distracted by it. Of course, it still feels like nothing when compared to the cooling that the throttle provides. :) I haven't tried other personal fans, but they seem much less expertly designed, although much less expensive ($20-$30). I found this one at a bargain ($120) compared to other places to buy it ($150-$170), but it was still quite expensive, and so that is the biggest drawback. However, you get what you pay for, as they say, so I am not complaining.
