Not genuine, superb for a knockoff
This is advertised as genuine but it is not: the build and materials quality is noticeably inferior than the original remote that came with the TV.
The most obvious differences are the color of the back: it has a hint of purple but it isn’t the same semi-translucent plastic of the original device; and the printing on the front: letters and buttons are grainy.
The unit works perfectly and looks very similar to the one bundled with TCL TVs. I’ll be keeping it as it does the job.
