Is capable of running Openwrt 18.0.6, syncs slightly lower then ISP provided hardware, need to use VLANS to use as a modem (bridged mode).

It is flashable with Openwrt as of 18.0.6
Setting up the device to make it work as a bridge and also being able to access its interface with Openwrt is pretty tricky and requires either managed switch or a firewall appliance capable of VLANs (such as Pfsense) and obviously a network card that is capable of VLAN tagging.
Can't comment on its original firmware since the first thing I did is to flash Openwrt on it.
Another caveat, it seems to sync (VDSL2) at a slightly lower rate then the original ISP provided modem.
Its only slightly so, so I don't think it really affects internet speed in a measurable way.

Useful item for my purpose.
A rather expensive, but useful product.
I bought it in order to add a built in switch to my home server.
Removed the case, glued the pcb to a pci bracket and installed it into the chassis.
Easy to power from internal usb header.
Considering the fact that the only product in market that I was able to find is a 10/100 pci card with an integrated switch which in fact costs more then this, I think it is not too expensive (even though it is still hard to justify the cost).
Remains to be seen how reliable this is.

Love the compact size and the fact that it doesn't get warm during use.
