Dyson products are overpriced....especially used or refurbished!
Works as described and very effective for my purpose. My major problem with Dyson products is that they are way overpriced for what little they are. They are just a normal fan inside but fools everyone into believing they are special and worth the price. Take one a part and you will see what I mean.
And Dyson customer support is nothing to write (email or social media) home to mom about. Especially when yours won't work. All they offer is for you to send it back in (pay for shipping) and give you 20% off a new one. Then they fix it and resell it as refurbished or renewed and charge you only $20 less than new price. Scam artistry at it's best!!!!
I bought it because it is stylish and I hate cleaning blade fans. I will admit that other cheaper fan/heaters are very noisy compared to Dyson products, but that is not worth the price hike. I use an air compressor to blow the dust out of my two heater/fans 2 times a year, without Dyson support, and it keeps it running magnificently and saves me money! Regular maintenance does wonders!
