Max & Moonie LLC, is named after Max the German Shepherd and Moonie the cat. They started out their life together and neither knows who is the dog and who is the cat. So when I retired as a technology consultant, we renamed the company in their honor.

Tool stabilizes and eases coin de-burring.
This tool holds the punch coin to be de-burred. I can say that my hands feel better and have less fatigue after doing several coins, not to mention that I am also not getting the small cuts on my fingers from the de-burring tool because the ring holder is sturdy and keeps the coins stable. I recommend this for anyone who is looking to make coin ring de-burring easier and safer for you as well as the coin.

Works as intended
Just like an item at a retail optical shop. Questions and other inquiries attended to. Absolutely easy purchase and friend staff. Plus the product works nicely and is with technical tolerances.

Partly working - overpriced for the quality
The press is working on a limited basis. It arrived in a heap of a mess. Parts were missing and the hydraulics were leaking. The seller was helpful but must have misunderstood what part was broken. The nylon washer for the hydraulic gauge was damaged and I tried to replace it but the leak persisted. I removed the gauge and applied some teflon tape to the flanged gauge port and put the shipping bolt back in and that stopped the leak. However I have no gauge. Weekend later I received a new gauge but that wasn’t the part I needed. So now I have two gauges and no way to tell how much pressure is being applied. I’m using the press for applications that can be eyeballed. No precision work. This press is roughly twice the price and isn’t twice the quality. Just based upon my experience, I cannot recommend this for applications where a precision pressure is needed.
