Another Great Ink by Noodler’s!!
Like all Noodler’s inks. This one performs very well. The lighter blue color is amazing and shades nicely. Though not as well as Turquoise of the Mesas or Southwest Sunset. It still has nice shading on some papers. As with all Noodler’s inks, the bottle is filled to the top. So be careful when you open it for the first time. Give the bottle a good shake before filling your pen to make sure the color is well mixed. This is a really nice ink color for those who want a blue, but not an eye popping blue. It’s also waterproof, so it’s good for when the writings need a certain level of protection from liquids.

Fantastic accessory for Noodler’s Pens
This is a great accessory to have for the Noodler’s pens that will accept it. The Ahab, Neponset and Triple Tail all benefit from a cartridge. You get a larger ink capacity than the pump fill unit. It can be easily removed and replaced with a fresh cartridge. Plus, you can carry extra cartridges to use if you’re on the go. These should be used by any artist that sketches with an ink pen.

Noodler’s Makes the Best Pens
Noodler’s pens are a great pen for anyone that likes to tinker with things. Noodler’s pen are made so they can be completely disassembled without tools of any kind. They can be adjusted and tuned however you want the pen to write. Do you like a pen that can lay down lots of ink? No problem. Do you like a pen that writes on the dry side? No problem. Just tune the pen to how you want it to write. Noodler’s pens can also be fitted with many different types of nibs. So artists can modify a nib for their uses. I use Noodler’s pens for line work on my watercolor and gouache paintings along with Noodler’s Heart of Darkness black ink. Noodler’s pens are inexpensive so I’m not worried about mistreating them. Nibs are available and are inexpensive. Currently, untipped nibs are going for about $3 - $4 each for the Ahab/Konrad. So modifying a nib for a specific use isn’t expensive. Cut the tip with wire cutters and polish it up on some micro mess and you’re done. I can’t express how much I like Noodler’s pens. They are everything a pen should be.
