Quality metal paint
Good quality metal or hard surface paint can be sprayed as I do and give long lasting rich colour.

Used Record No.3 vice
Great good old fashioned vice with four inch jaw width. This vice was made at a time when standards in engineering were very high and this vice outlive many the modern monkey metal equivalents. Definitely buy a good old Record, Woden or Parkinson vice as they were made to last, which is why they are about 50% heavier than a modern vice of same size.

Good little pick up tool
Cheap and cheerful, does the job for picking up small magnetic items. Compact head means it can get into tight spaces.
