Very inconvenient, possibly unsafe.
2 of 8 found this helpful Unit has no thermostatic control. without any control over the temperature, the unit is less controllable than a 3 stage tank top heater (at 1/3 of the price). basically once you light it, it runs until its out of gas or the structure burns down. There don't appear to be any limit or safety devices save an oxygen depletion sensor (which is just a hole in the pilot body). I would say it was a poor design and a waste of otherwise quality materials. I am a 30+ year HVAC service and installation contractor. I would not recommend this product. I will not be installing mine.
