I've been selling on Ebay since '03, and decided to focus more in selling themed T-shirts. I've created nicks2ndhandshirts to become the focus of my main store. Thanks, and be sure to check out my items for sale under BOTH names.

Scooby-Doo and the Cyber Chase PS1 CIB and tested! (Black label)
Feb 28, 2018
Far too difficult to be fun, especially for a kid's game...
I found this title at a Salvation Army store, and since I always enjoyed Scooby Doo as a kid, I bought this game. Being a kid's title, I expected it to be easy, or at least easy enough to blast through...but boy was I ever wrong! Only the first 2 levels are easy. After that, the difficulty spikes up! Here's the main things that make this game far too hard to enjoy... (1) The controls. This game has tons of platforming and the jumping is a mess. (a) In order to make a proper jump, you must begin walking a tad BEFORE the jump. Otherwise the jump will be extremely short and fall into the pit. (b) If you steer right or left during the jump, you will no longer move forward and will move to that side at the same rate of speed. Expect to keep going too far over! (c) You're always jumping towards the back, so expect to keep making jumps too far and too short--over and over and over again.... (2) The boss fights. They're all extremely difficult, as you don't move that fast and there's no turbo or running in this game. Worse yet, most of the bosses have instant kills if you're standing in the wrong place (and there's no way to know either--just keeping fighting that boss over and over and over again until you get lucky). (3) Platform detection. You safely land near the edge of the platform and your instinct is to walk back towards the middle. Nope, you fall through the platform to your death! Only jumping back works, making this a difficulty that shouldn't have been! (4) Auto-moving forward mini-games within the levels. As this game isn't difficult enough! Expect to bobsled off the edges! A skateboard level where there's no way to slow it down--just kamikaze into all of the hazards! Oh, did I mention that this is a kid's game LOL (5) Limited lives. This isn't Super Mario! It's far too hard, even cheating with unlimited lives with a GameShark--yes, that's the only way I was able to make it to the last level :( As an adult, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. The nostalgia and cuteness of Scooby and Shaggy is quickly forgotten from the frustration of this game. I'm selling this game off and, by the way, the only way I got to see the ending was on YouTube. I couldn't defeat the final boss, even with the GameShark. Oh, and this is supposed to be a kids game =)

Get the Legend of Zelda Remix Cart!
This is game #16 on the Zelda Remix Cart. It is a great version! I have this game and ALL of the other remixes on my NES cart. Why settle for just 1 game version, when you can have A BUNCH?

"Stick" to the known brands
After trying a few of the cheap Chinese-branded USB sticks, I finally bought these. Not only does the data write faster to this (even the cheap ones that claim to be USB 3.0), it is completely reliable. You can later add more files without worry (the cheap ones get stuck trying to write files to them, even with plenty of memory available). Another big reason to avoid those cheap ones, is that sooooo many of them are flashed with bigger memory than they actually hold (search for fake memory on YouTube if you don't know how this works). So, in short, DON'T EVER BUY cheap memory sticks or SD cards. Stick to reliable brands like this one and save yourself the frustration!
