Great for Variable Frequency Drives

I put it in my Variable Frequency Drive, and it worked fine. It was a direct replacement for one that showed a dead short across all leads and had cracked. For what this thing is and does, this is a great value.

Nice little motor speed control

This speed control for 90VDC motors works pretty well. I am using it for a 1/8HP Bison Gearmotor rated at 1.2 amps. The only downside I can think of is that the speed control potentiometer is pretty sensitive to adjustment. But then again, I am using it down near the 20% level. If I were to do it over, I would have procured a gearmotor at a lower rated speed and tried to use the speed control in the upper region for more control. I know that this voids the warranty, but I solved the above problem by replacing the 10K speed control potentiometer with a 10 turn, 50k potentiometer. This gives me a more sensitive speed adjustment. The speed has to be pretty stable. This worked for me.

Great value, Be sure to watch the videos how to put them in.

Once I got the bearings in the car, it worked fine. For those who want to put these in themselves, be sure to look at YouTube videos on how to do it. This is a press fit bearing to the hub and housing. I recommend putting the bearings in the freezer overnight to get them to shrink and go in the housing easier. If you had a hydraulic press, it would make things a lot easier. This bearing has better seals than the stock bearings for the vehicle.
