Tough to Match
1 of 1 found this helpful With all the models of LP out there and all the parts makers around the world, finding parts that match exactly is a struggle. This went on my Epi LP Standard 2012 and it was nearly a perfect fit. There is a very slight difference in the curve, and being made of unforgiving steel, there is no bending it to fit perfectly. It's close enough for rock and roll, though.

Oy, LP Parts...
Again, so many LPs are slightly different and so many parts are not absolutely perfect. To fit my Epi LP Standard 2012, I had to take almost 1/4" off the rear border of the neck pickup notch. After this, it fit and looks lovely. It should be noted that this 3-ply is noticeably thinner and more flexible than the solid (terrible looking) stock pickguard. It looks nice, but I might go 5-ply if I do this again.

The Look I Wanted at the Price I Could Pay
1 of 1 found this helpful These frames were much less expensive than others I saw, and what I got is what I expected--maybe a bit better. When installed and hung, these look very nice, except perhaps under very close scrutiny. During installation it is immediately clear that the plastic frames are very thin and flexible (some might say flimsy). The metal clips on the back actually push on and mildly distort the shape of the frame. In the end, these bring some life to my music studio/workshop. If it were in my living room, I'd choose higher quality frames. I'm happy with this purchase.
