A nice little kit

This is actually a nice little kit. It offers a little more detail than the older Tamiya #35023. I have not seen the newer #35241 so I cannot make a comparison there. The kit goes together easily and the parts fit cleanly. The molding is crisp and clean as well with little or no flashing. Very little sanding is needed.The handle bars include the break and clutch handles that were missing from the earlier motorcycle kit. I fabricated break and clutch cables using black thread. The decals are a bit rigid and you will want to use some micro-sol to get them to settle in, it also helps to mute the glare from the decal. Over all a good kit for a good price. I recommend it for the novice or the serious military modeler.

Functional work of art.

This is a beautiful knife of outstanding quality. The ergonomics are excellent and the blade is razor sharp. The hardwood handle has a rich luster. The sheath is made from top quality leather and fits the knife like a glove. Add to the mix a very reasonable price and this knife is a fantastic value. I am torn between using it or preserving it as a “safe queen”.
