A Better Way to Remove a Tick
1 of 1 found this helpful After having used a pair of tweezers to remove a tick and not being able to get all of it out, I've discovered there is a better way. By sliding this slotted "Pro-Tick Remedy" flush with the skin and around the tick's mouth where it is attached to the skin, firm but gentle pressure can be used to pry the whole tick away from its blood meal. It seems to be far more effective and safer than the oft used efforts to "motivate" the tick to back out because of heat, suffocation or squeezing. Completely removing potential disease carrying ticks is not an every day event for humans or pets but having this tool available in one's first aid kit or medicine cabinet is an excellent idea. Recently, I've learned that tick-borne diseases can lead to very serious and complex health problems. Preventing tick bites is preferable! However, should one get by you, having a simple, safe and effective tool like this available to remove an attached tick is the way to go. Now, I'm prepared!

Great Value
Perfect replacement battery packs for my Motorola 2-Way radios. Very easy to remove the old and install the new. Since charging a week ago and being on standby ever since, the battery packs are still fully charged and operational with no additional charging. Plus, they were very inexpensive to buy!

External Power Again for my OLD GPS
When I discovered I had lost my external power connection, I tested until I found a broken wire in my original CA-5 99-60 Power Converter Cable and tried, to no avail, to get a replacement from Lowrance. So, I searched eBay and found EXACTLY what I needed at a great price! Now my OLD Lowrance AirMap 500 gets external power again and I can fly my ultralight locally without anxiety about losing battery power in flight. I'm very happy about that!
