right part, slightly different wiring, works great so far
After almost 20 years the original dual element in our Frigidaire cooktop failed, with a nearly invisible break in the outer coil at the element's outer edge. This replacement part works flawlessly so far (2 weeks). As everyone has said, the wiring hookup for this part differs from the original, but it only took a few minutes to figure out with web help. We'll see if this new element keeps working, but so far so good.

no drift for these PIO capacitors, very high Q
These capacitors tested well within 10% of spec and had Q > 250. For use as guitar tone capacitors you can't beat them as far as I'm concerned.

replacement battery for Bosch 24V saw/drill works like the original
very close match to original in shape and fit, sometimes needs a whack on insertion to work. after 1 job it seems to reproduce the performance of the original Bosch battery, which was never all that great. back in the day it was necessary to take 2 charged batteries and the charger to the worksite so you could be charging the first battery while continuing to work with the second, and you still sometimes ran out of battery during the day. this battery is about the same. BUT it powers the tools and that's better than buying new tools when the old ones still work, except for the batteries. those tools are over 20 years old now..
