Great features
I really like this E6540 laptop - Good battery. Very few signs of wear. In the last week or so, I have not noticed the wear at all. A great screen, bright and easy on the eyes. Great keyboard. Runs Ubuntu-MATE with very few problems. I've had a difficult time getting used to the touchpad, but no harder than the last few laptops I've owned and used. I'm using my Logi trackball less and less as the days go by.

Perfect fix
This replacement base and handset allowed me to "repair" an existing base that was disabled in a recent power outage.
