A Major Disappointment
If you're considering buying an SOG Flare, do yourself a favor and skip it. Mine came in yesterday and it feels like cheap junk. No metal liners in the boxy plastic handle. It feels incredibly flimsy. Lots of horizontal blade wobble right out of the package. The lock has a ton of play (seriously there is no reason for the lock slide to be that long, it only moves 2/3 of the distance) And the assisted opening is sluggish. The blade looks nice though.
