Solid wood. Excellent construction.
I bought this entertainment center for our den. I bought it unfinished so I could decide the stain I wanted. Turned out beautiful. Best of all, it came fully assembled, so no geometry lesson involved. I unpacked it, applied some stain and polyurethane and set it up. Looks great and its nice to have something that is made of solid wood.

Sturdy, doesn't take up too much room in truck bed
Just about right for me to keep tire chains, toolbox, small chainsaw and a little gas and oil in my 1/2 ton pickup.
