A good compromise
True jewellers work benches can very quite pricey, if you know what I mean. And I wasn't looking to open my own jewelry store. Just something not too expensive that allowed me to store all my jewelry tools and supplies properly. This is a nice compromise, that as an added bonus works with the desk I already have. It adds storage without taking up precious workspace; while keeping all your tools within easy reach but still out of the way. The only down side to it, I'd say, is the wood isn't sealed. This isn't an issue to me because I can and did, easily seal it with some polyethylene. This may be an issue to some though without easy access to the supplies and/or the time to do so. I do recommend taking the time to do so if you do decide to purchase this workbench as the wood is of the quality that it would quickly become very dirty and distressed without anything to protect it. Despite this, I would still recommend this workbench to others.
