Game changer at a cost

These ecobee temperature and motion sensors made a significant improvement in how our ecobee thermostat controls our new heat pump. We have a 3-story house and placing these additional sensors in addition to the thermostat and single sensor that came with it in two additional rooms and associating how those data should be used for home, away, and sleep has made the system far more efficient. They are much smaller that one might think from the photos and my wife even thinks they are cute. They will probably pay for themselves in the end but the initial price of $100 seems like a bit much.
