1 of 1 found this helpful The 16-50mm lens that the camera shipped with never worked well for me. This new 55-210mm one is exceptional though. I get good crisp zooms with much better photo quality. Just by looking at the lens glass and comparing between the two it's obvious this is a much higher end accessory than the 16-50mm. Only using this lens from now on. The hood screws on the lens itself if so choose to carry it. Lens covers are not interchangeable between the two. Two thumbs up!
