Best perfume for a migraine sufferer
2 of 2 found this helpful I have used many other perfumes and brands in the past, but when I developed severe chronic migraines, I was unable to tolerate any sort of scented products. I could no longer use most shampoos, makeups, lotions, soaps, and sadly, perfumes because the fragrances would trigger an episode. Untold is one of the only two perfumes I have ever found that does not result in an almost instant migraine. The other happens to be Pretty, also by Elizabeth Arden.
The scent itself is somewhat light, being more citrus and woodsy in nature with less floral notes than other Elizabeth Arden perfumes, but it is nowhere near as overpowering as Red Door. Pretty was the first Elizabeth Arden perfume I ever tried, but being a very light, floral scent, it tends to seem quite young and girlish. Untold definitely comes across as being a more mature scent, but is still light enough that one doesn't feel as though they are drowning in the perfume.
I find that one application lasts all day long, and it is the sort of scent that does tend to blend well into the body's particular chemistry. It will smell just as good after a long day at the office, or a couple hours running errands, or even a few hours working out!
If you've ever had trouble with migraines, or any sensitivity to fragrances, I cannot recommend trying this product enough. It was a life-saver for me.
