Impressive Hybrid
I wound up with a Windows tablet by accident, and have found that, with the docking keyboard, it is an impressive system indeed.
Upgrading from Windows 7 to Windows 10 is dicey, given that Windows is a memory hog in general, but the Acer offering gives a great deal of utility to the Windows platform.
For a travel work machine, it has plenty of horsepower and is a real improvement over a laptop for my purposes.
Acer did well with this one.

Summer Fun
1 of 1 found this helpful We got this set for a Croquet/Badminton get together, with an assortment of adults and kids.
Setting up the net required basic Boy Scout skills, and took maybe 10 minutes.
The kids played Badminton all day, and it was quite a hit.
For our purposes, this was entirely functional, and I expect to use it for years.
A more expensive and substantial setup is appropriate to a school or camp or somewhere that it will be used constantly, but this is spot on for our needs.

Acer Iconia A500
The Iconia A500 gives the most bang for the buck of any tablet. Since it is not supported with endless updates by Acer, its price is most affordable. There is, however, a great deal of support through the network of users and developers found through the most basic search.
With USB, MicroUSB, HDMI and docking ports, there is sufficient connectivity to serve a multitude of roles. The Micro SD card allows the tablet to be reconfigured at a moment's notice as a navigation platform, video system, gaming system or for other duty.
Available Android software is extensive, and useful.
You can spend a lot more and get a lot less.
