Beats by Dr. Dre Noise-Canceling Over-Ear Headphones - ML992LL/A

These are way too small to be "Over-Ear" Headphones

Take a real close look at the image, unlike me before buying, and realize this is a tiny ear cup. They rest against your ears like 1990's Walkman headphones. I got these with the plan to listen to music from my computer. The computer tower is right next to my feet, but the cable to these headphones is too short to even reach it. It isn't even 6 feet long. A good length for plugging into a antiquated portable audio device, or into a handheld controller of a game console, but that's about it. I was nearly convinced I was going to send these back until I finally found something I could plug these into and check out the sound. They honestly sound fantastic for not covering the whole ear. They are comfortable too. Good clean sounds and bass. The quality is great enough that I'll go find a solution to the short cable limitation. I had thought that it being a 3.5mm cable is why the price was so low on these, but the overall small size of these headphones (or lack there of) is probably more of a reason they are in this price range. Mini Beats might be a better description of the size of these headphones.
