A Great Camera for Reusing Old Lenses!
I purchased a G1 body to use with my extensive collection of Konica AR-mount lenses. This means getting an adapter ring that goes from Konica to M4/3. Only one of these is needed.
The camera handles well and takes nice pictures. Since I am using old lenses, I am limited to Manual and Apeture Priority exposure modes. Fewer than 40% of the advanced features work, but this is still an improvement over my old film 35mm approach.
The built in flash is very basic. I will continue to use my old Sunpak mountable flash. The camera does HD video, also, but this is not something I will use.
I'm most interested in getting really good stills. I have shot 100 images so far, and I like what I see. I like being able to control the shutter speed. I cannot set this directly with my current setup, but I can encourage faster shutter speeds when needed by upping the ISO number. The range of color saturation and exposure settings is terrific, and these work even with my manual lenses.
The G1 isn't a true SLR, in that what you see in the viewfinder is an electronic projection. This doesn't work as well in low light situations and makes focusing that much harder. Although not a perfect camera (I'd give it an 8 out of 10), it is terrific for me and my needs.

Makes accessing older HDDs easy and fast
I have various sized HHDs around that I use for backup storage. This device is terrific for pulling and adding files easily.

Easy to install. Lightning fast relative to my prior 2.5" SATA SSD.
Installed this in a new PD build for video editing and light gaming. This drive achieved a 165% rating from UserBenchMark testing. I'm pleased.
