Excellent product for simple, manual focus stacks
I use this product with a RRS clamp, RRS ball head, Nikon D810 and Nikon "micro" lenses and extensions. The rail is very stable, very smooth to slide, and the tensioner works perfectly with a heavy downward load. I couldn't be happier with this decision.

Not quite perfect for me
Glass allows great water level assessment, with or without internal lighting. Frosting hides lime scale. Easy to fill with a jug of filtered water. BUT... the spout does NOT allow controlled pouring of small volumes.
