C1710 SECURITY ROUTER
1 of 1 found this helpful This is a nice router. It comes normally with a 3Dez Firewall. It is a nice start for a small business and even for the home. One of the nice things is you can build a VPN between yourself and your friends and share stuff across the Internet with out much worry. I would how ever update to the latest version of IOS on this unit unless your ISP has a very good fire wall ahead of it. It a nice security piece. I own three of them and have yet to have a problem.

1 of 1 found this helpful This is a nice Router that can be configured quickly for Network address Translation and secure any network with the latest IOS installed. IOS includes a 3Dez firewall to keep intruders out of your network. It will also allow the configuration of access times where access to the Internet can be allowed to the internet by time of day down to the individual machine on a network. This router is also cable of creating a secure VPN between site over the Internet. MGD
