For those who love making cakes

Cakes are one of my favorite things to make and when I saw some recipes from this book posted on dessert blogs, I knew I had to have it. Many cake cookbooks focus on decorating or cakes that are not accessible to regular home bakers. This one is different. There are some inventive flavors, but nothing crazy. And it's focused on delicious cakes, not how they look. All the recipes sound delicious, and I can't wait to try them. I plan to make my first cake from the book for Mother's Day.
