Toaster is beeping good!
1 of 1 found this helpful The timer ranges from 1:40 at setting 1 to 3:40 at setting 7 when the toaster begins ccld. When warm, each setting takes 20 sec less. It beeps 3 times when done & if "Keep Warm" is selected, it beeps roughly each min for 3 mins, with a final 3 beeps before the toast pops up. It toasts evenly through each slice, so the toast is not still doughy in the center. Stays cool on outside, easy to clean (just treat the crumb tray gently), and the cord is long enough (30 in) route out the back.
Excellent toaster!

Heats evenly, stays cool.
Heats evenly and consistently. The 1 - 7 settings are timer based. The range is approx. 1:30secs to 3:30 secs. One thing to note: if the toaster is already hot, each setting is reduced by about 15 secs. I don't mind the beeps - 3 beeps when done, the 1 beep approx each of 3 minutes in 'keep warm' mode, ending with a final 3 beeps before the toast pops up. Easy clean with slide out crumb tray. Toaster controls have a solid feel to them....excellent toaster!

Equation Solver
I bought the Casio FX-991 ES. Fantastic for using Newton's law of approximation to solve equations like sinδ = a + bcos(δ + β) (a, b, β constants). Just substitute the ANS key for δ in the equation and keep hitting the "=" button till the answer doesn't change (converges).
