best buy for the right person

I bought this camera because I don't like digital cameras. Oh I have tried, at some expense, but it just wasn't happening for me. Also I want a viewfinder and enough zoom to reach out and touch some mountains without being heavy. Few digital cameras have a viewfinder. Additionally, you can't compose an outdoor picture with a digital camera without wearing a sombrero?, big hat or something because of the glare on the digital viewscreen. I take about two roles of 36 count film per vacation, so I am not encumbered with lots of film canisters. Where I develop my film, I can pay a bit more and get the photos on a digital disk. So no problems sending them anywhere. I also take time to plan my photos and don't miss the digital ability to snap away and then edit out bad pictures. If it is worth taking a photo, it is worth taking the time to get it right the first time. Lastly, a spare battery is tiny compared to the recharging paraphernalia I had to take to recharge my digital camera battery. Lighweight, adequate zoom and low fuss are great reasons to buy a camera like this.
