Apple quality hardware let down by lack of software
Pros: crystal clear, bright screen, long battery life, smooth reliable operation. But mainly, it's not Android or Windows !
Cons: tied to Apple store and apparently cannot further upgrade operating system on this model. Many of the apps I want are simply not available for IoS9 - Google Chrome and Google Translate for example. I'm sure the built-in browser is capable, but as of yet I simply cannot understand how it works (everything I tap takes me somewhere I don't want to be, with no way of getting back) and like all these "apps" there is no proper manual you can study, you are simply expected to know what to do. I'm 68, I don't, despite having had home computers since the early 1980s, and written a few programs myself. And there's no worthwhile Whatsapp, which even a bog standard Windows PC will do.
