Great book for beginners!!!

I really like the book...has a lot of good information in it and helped me with my Technician Class Exam! Some parts are a little basic for me as I have a background in electronics. That being said, the overall view is right on for getting people into Ham Radio and any help I can get is more than worth it!!!

Pyramid PS52KX Power Supply 46 Amp Constant

Heavy weight solid performer!!!

This is a true linear power supply. I have quite a few switching power supplies and they are hit of miss on noise. I am a fan of old tube type short wave receivers and many of the top switching supplies put out way too much noise. This power supply "Pyramid PS52KX" does the job and has nary a bobble when transmitting on my HF rigs. I am proud that I finally made the switch and that this power supply is sufficiently robust to run all my radios!!!

Battery for Icom 92AD

Bought a used Icom IC-91AD for use on D-Star and it had a dead battery, bought this battery on E-Bay, it was sent quickly and was fully charged! Installed it and the HT went to working like brand new, what can I say...it is a great battery and I am glad I bought it and will get a spare for backup purposes when I can!!! Thanks KG5DAC
