Medicom Toy RAH Real Action Heroes Fate/stay night Saber Alter 1/6 Action Figure

Not worth the price

This was my first time buying a figure from the Real Action Heroes series. I saw images online but never saw one of the figures in person. I took a gamble and decided to buy this figure. I am a huge fan of the Fate series and Saber especially, so I was very excited about getting this figure. Sadly my gamble did not pay off. The packaging was great. The box is big and durable, with a front flap that opens to show the figure. In the box, the figure looks great. Upon opening the figure, the flaws became apparent immediately. For such a high price, the quality simply isn't there. The neck joint does not move smoothly. If you try to move the neck at all, it ends up in an awkward pose and it's difficult to get right again. All of the joints are very flimsy. The face sculpt looks good, and it has alternate face plates to change expressions. Both sword accessories are good. Although the face sculpt looks good, the body and clothes are where the problems are. This figure is really just a doll on par with what you could find at Walmart for $20. The material for the clothing is cheap and does not even look impressive outside of the packaging. For a figure this expensive, the attention to detail is severely lacking. After opening this figure and inspecting it, it is clear the selling point is the franchise name and the fact that it is a larger scale figure. The price is outrageous and not even close to worth it. The quality on the body and clothing is poor, the joints are limited and clunky, and the overall quality is very sub-par. If I gave this figure a letter grande, I would give it an F. I cannot recommend this figure to any collectors. Even at half the price it would be a hard sell. I will not get any other figure from this line up. If you want a quality figure, I would recommend the Figma or Nendoroid series over Real Action Heroes any day. Those lines contain craftsmanship, fine detail, and high aesthetic value. This figure series is nothing but marketing hype to milk a well-established franchise.

Gap

There is a gap between the forehead piece and the face (see images). It is possible this might just be the one I received, but either way it is disappointing because Good Smile usually delivers much better quality on its products. If you are trying to customize a Nendoroid Doll, this head is not the best because there is no way to fix this gap, which impedes the overall aesthetic. There are no other issues besides that, it fits on the doll body well, but the poorly fitted piece really takes away from the quality. Overall, I would not recommend this for the price.

JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Phantom Blood World Collectible Figure vol.3 Full 6 Set

"Phantom Blood" WCF series looks great!

This set of figures is based on Part 1 of the series Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, "Phantom Blood." The set features the protagonist Jonathan Joestar and his rival Dio Brando. Robert E.O. Speedwagon and Baron Zeppeli, Jonathan's allies, are also featured. The resurrected knights Bluford and Talkus are also in the set. The figures are premier quality and bear a strong resemblance to the characters from the series. They are consistent with the usual style of the Banpresto "World Collectible Figure" toy line. Each of the characters have enlarged heads and detailed outfits. The figures each have a base and a peg that makes them easy to display. The figures are not articulated and are in a dramatic pose. I highly recommend this set for any fans of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, especially if you like the early part of the series, because of their detail and likeness to the characters. My personal favorite from the series is Baron Zeppeli, but all of the figures look fantastic.
