I obtained all of this sort of thing in public libraries in the past
The book is too much like recorded accounts of Holocaust victims that I read extensively during junior high school. It is too much based on recollections that are sequenced weakly with run-on sentences. This makes the reading often ambiguous.

A good buy, a good read
It is a more specific account than "Exodus to Shanghai" but a far more reasonable buy. "Exodus to Shanghai" is grossly over-priced.

Fine compendium I would recommend to others
The price is reasonable. The binding is excellent. The content is complete.
